Whistle-Blower Safe Place

A dedicated place to raise a concern, report wrongdoing, share public-interest information or contact Right First Time UK without having to provide your name.

Speak Up Without Having to Identify Yourself

You can use this page if you want to report something you believe should be looked at, including unsafe practice, misconduct, unfair treatment, failures in public services, misuse of power, poor administration or another public-interest concern.

What You Can Report

Public-Service Failures

Concerns about systems, decisions, repeated errors, poor administration or failures that may affect other people.

Wrongdoing or Misconduct

Information about conduct, unsafe practice, abuse of process, inappropriate behaviour or other matters you believe require scrutiny.

Evidence & Public Interest

Information that may help expose a wider problem, recurring pattern or issue affecting the public.

Before You Send Anything

  • Share only what is necessary to explain the concern.
  • Remove unnecessary names, addresses, dates of birth and children's personal information where possible.
  • Do not send passwords, security answers, payment-card details or account login details.
  • Keep copies of any important evidence you hold.

Send an Anonymous Message

Name and email are optional. Leave them blank if you do not want to identify yourself in the message.

If you want a reply, provide an email address. It does not have to be your main email address.

This form does not deliberately place your IP address into the email message sent to Right First Time UK. However, normal hosting, firewall, security or web-server logs may still record technical connection information. If revealing your identity could put you at serious risk, do not assume an ordinary website form provides the same protection as a specialist secure-drop or legal whistleblowing service.

Where Your Message Goes

Messages submitted through this page are sent to:

What Happens Next

Right First Time UK may review the information, compare it with other evidence, consider whether it indicates a wider issue and decide whether further research, signposting, reporting or public-interest work is appropriate.

Submitting information does not guarantee that Right First Time UK can investigate, intervene or take action in an individual case.

Urgent danger: this page is not an emergency reporting service. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. If the concern involves an immediate safeguarding risk, contact the appropriate emergency, police, local-authority or safeguarding service.
